The more one becomes practiced – be it meditation, photography, life – the more masterful one becomes. Experiencing nature continues to teach me about living in the present, about patience, and about Life – all of these being key ingredients to the art of Nature & Wildlife photography. Experiencing Nature through my lenses makes my profession as a Nature & Wildlife photographer truly rewarding - born from my passion.

To best express & glorify Nature & Wildlife my images are printed on my chosen medium, canvas. The canvas is stretched to be hung, beautifully frameless - like Nature with no boundaries. Each print is special, only a small number of Limited Editions is made from each image. - I varnish each image by hand then sign & number each. The varnished image on canvas is beautifully artistic. A wide variety of Nature images are found within my collection of online fine art galleries. Chose from macro photography of flowers or landscape floral images, Black and White abstracts in Nature, Small things in Nature, including frogs, butterflies, bees, and other insects. Find landscape and waterscape images, sunrise & sunsets, Seasonal photography of winter and of fall landscapes. Included are collections of location photos specific to California, the Smoky Mountains, and Lake Geneva. Though I love making pictures of all of Nature's splendor my specialty is Wildlife photography, specifcally birds. I've had many requests for gift certificates - easier to let that special person pick out the image that they really want! About Me - My outdoor "office" is decorated with the moods of nature - Here I am inspired to create. I sit quietly and wait. Photographing nature is an adventure that requires both physical & mental stamina and results in growth of the spirit. I wouldn't call it glamourous, yet my work is romanticized by most. My colleagues are the Wildlife - birds and the mammals - of the outdoors. We communicate in an unspoken, universal language which requires simply love, patience and respect to understand.
My intention is to communicate the voice of nature through my photography and then allow my photography to serve as a "bridge", inspiring others to "see" and experience themselves through Nature. The simplicity that allows one to hear his or her own inner voice happens in nature - away from the “chaos” of everyday pressures, labels, expectations, deadlines, … LIfe's overwhelm suddenly seems small and we are reminded of who we really are and what the “big picture” is really all about.
Photographs that evoke a response in the viewer and that invite the viewer to participate, to feel, and to experience are images that define fine art. A photograph that draws the viewer into the environment in which the image was made is one that communicates three dimensionally - transcending the two dimensional photograph. My articles are written to give you, the viewer, my stories, experiences, feelings, and interpretations behind my nature & wildlife photography. It is my interaction, immersion, and passion that amplify my work and allow it to communicate to all of the senses as Fine Art.

I offer two types of public speaking presentations -
Inspiring, Relaxing & Entertaining - My experiences in Nature create my images and my images serve as a bridge to inspire people to see and experience themselves through Nature. This presentation is full of colorful photos, stories from the field, humor, ... and it is often interactive as well!
Inspiring, Informative & Motivating - This presentation is geared towards those who wish to learn more about photography. Whether it be field techniques such as the art of patience and getting closer to your subject, or whether it be a group photo critique, I tailor make this speaking presentation to your needs.

Printing Services -
Photography Printing - This is something I love to do for others! The same way I create my own prints is the way I create prints for other photographers or people who just wish to have something that they made turned into their own art. My favorite is making prints on canvas! To print it, varnish it and artist warp it is fun in itself and I love to see the progress of the image turned into art!
Giclee - A fancy French Word meaning to "spray with ink". This is a process of printing that I use for artists that paint. Oil, watercolor and acrylic artists particularly love giclee prints because they can reproduce their work one at a time - A very economical and yet beautiful way to reproduce art!
Photography Services -
Custom photo shoots - in Nature - I apply the same technique and artistry to people in Nature that I do to my Nature photography. If you enjoy the style of my Nature & Wildlife photography then you are guaranteed to enjoy the way I work with your fine gardens and your family in Nature as well.
Photography Workshops & Consulting
Workshops - I offer Individual workshops convenient for individual schedules. I made the online ordering process super simple! Just pick the date you want, the morning, afternoon or all day and add to your shopping cart. That easy! All individual shoots are catered to your needs. You may also pick a buddy or two and schedule the shoot for 2 or 3 people - just pick those options at the workshop page! With more and more people taking up nature photography as a hobby, I wish to cater to these people. Get as much out of the workshops as you wish - Workshops are fun, informative and all about experiencing yourself through Nature!
Photography Consultation(Coaching) and Review - Coaching is getting a lot of hype these days, so I use this word as well along with consulting. I am self-taught on many things, however sometimes it has benefited me to consult with someone who is an expert in an area that I am not. For example I paid an art business consultant to help me define business parameters. The price wasn't cheap but it was so well worth it! My learning curve grew in leaps and bounds and I was able to do what I do best and let him help me in the areas that I was not as well-versed as he.
