I was in Sanibel and came across a flock of terns and gulls resting on the beach, facing into the sun. I laid on my belly in their outer circle. I photographed bu spent much of my time just simply observing - I was so close and could see the details in the many species before me. Their eyes were beautiful and the colors and texture of their feathers diverse and spectacular. After about an hour of being engrossed into my surroundings I turned to see that I was now in the center of their circle!
