Kristen Westlake specializes in the art of wild bird photography. Her wild bird stock photo galleries include behavior and action photography of birds. Included is photography of birds feeding young, juvenile birds, birds feeding, birds preening, birds nesting, birds in flight, birds landing and taking off, birds courting, birds fishing, and more.
Kristen's artistic photographs of birds are the result of her experiences in nature, which involve hours of patience and observation of her subjects. Her observation of wild birds takes her into their habitat - wetlands, woods, and prairie, where she slowly and gently becomes a part of the bird's world. Rather than being an outsider looking in, Kristen believes that being accepted as part of the bird's surroundings yields the best observation of wild bird behavior, and subsequently results in the finest expression of her art, wild bird photography. |
