As I sit here in the early morning hours I am comforted by the gentle serenading hum of crickets. I feel a longing for the outdoors, to feel the earth on my bare feet, to fall asleep in the woods, and to awake then with the gentle rousing of the wind. There is something neccessary in all of that for me. As neccessary as all of our material world seems - our jobs, our homes, our dollars, our stuff - I am reminded of and know reality most when I am wrapped up in the arms of Nature.
